Harry Potter a character made up or is he based on fact. I have been looking into this for the passed 2 months. I have read all four of the Harry Potter books and done a bit of nosing about. I think that this is a good case to say that this is real.
One of my people have filmed a steam engine going up north on the 1st September 2001 with a few of the passengers wearing pointy hats. If you have read the books then you know that the train to Hogwarts School of Wizardry and Witchcraft leaves platform 9 ¾ on 1st September. Could this have been the same train?
The books tell that Hogwarts is protected by a magical force field so that anyone that goes near their suddenly remember they have somewhere else to be. The book says that Hogwarts is to the north of the country. Last weekend I had a friend up north, while out in the country suddenly rememeber he had to be somewhere else. But when he got where he believed he should be he forgot why he was there.
